Facial Anatomy

Project Overview

This facial anatomy model was created as part of the Art Team at Osso VR for use in VR surgical training. It helps learners visualize the spatial relationships of facial structures through an open-window design that reveals layered anatomy—from skin to deep tissues—supporting clearer understanding in an interactive environment.

My Role

I researched and built all facial anatomical structures, including muscles, fat pads, major vessels, and nerve branches, ensuring precise spatial relationships between each element. I sculpted every structure, baked them into a refined unified mesh, textured the final model in Substance Painter, and set up the assets in the Unity scene for real-time use.
This work was developed as part of a full patient model in collaboration with Morgan Summerlin, Man-san Ma and Jason Holt.
